Prabha Sethy is an established educator with over 30 years of experience, based out of Dehra Dun. She is the author of Engaging Mathematics, Maths Now, and Maths Matters, series of textbooks for CBSE and ICSE respectively, published by Harper Collins.

She runs a Mathematics tutorial center, Brainwave, for students from grade 1 to grade 12, including both in-person and online classes, which focus on helping students to understand key concepts in mathematics and build a love for the subject.

Herself an alumnus of the Doon School in Dehra Dun, (where her father, OP Malhotra, the eminent mathematician, taught mathematics), she  also holds classes on basic values and personality building for young children
